Dr Chan is a Senior Specialist in Occupational Health and Diving Medicine as well as Arbitrator with the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is highly passionate about protecting and optimising the health of all employees and has developed, implemented and evaluated Occupational Health programmes within diverse working environments and agents including the military, healthcare facilities and research laboratories. He has helped to develop and implemented medical response plans for various factories, workplaces and ships in preparation for routine and crisis situations including pandemic planning and emergency contingencies. His other areas of expertise lie in the occupational health of compressed air works, diving and maritime health. His background is an integration of military, academic and corporate experiences. He holds various appointments including Senior Occupational Health Consultant, National University of Singapore, Visiting Consultant to the Hyperbaric & Diving Medicine Centre, Singapore General Hospital, Senior Research Fellow, Defence Medical & Environmental Research Institute. He teaches in various Occupational Health, Biosafety, Compressed Air Works and Diving Medicine programmes and is the Associate Dean for the National Occupational Health Training Programme and previously adjunct assistant professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He sits on various Workplace Safety and Health Committees including the WSH Committee for Healthcare, WSH work group for Risk Assessment and advisor to various Institutional Biosafety Committees. He is currently the President of the Occupational & Environmental Health Society and First Vice-President of the Asian Association for Occupational Health.

Dr Lai Li Cheng graduated from NUS in 1992 and has worked in the hospital system through a number of relevant clinical postings (including emergency medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology, respiratory medicine, family medicine) before proceeding to private practice. Her expertise is in the holistic healthcare for employees and their family members by providing primary healthcare, acute treatment of non-work related conditions, treatment of work-related conditions, pre-employment and periodic medical examinations, insurance medicals and fitness to return to work. Her practice, Chinatown Medical Centre has numerous corporate clients and she is well-versed in industrial medicine. She is the chief physician for Chinatown Medical Centre and medical director for Work Health & Safety INC and Occupational Health Consultants (Asia-Pacific).

Dr Linus Loh graduated from NUS in 1992 and has worked in the hospital system through a number of relevant clinical postings (including emergency medicine, surgery, gastroenterology, rehabilitation medicine, family medicine) before proceeding to private practice. He has served in the Singapore Navy where he helped to implement occupational health and diving medicine programmes. Such programmes involved fitness to work evaluations, member of the SAF Medical Board, camp hygiene inspections, medical support during exercises, treatment of work and non-work related medical conditions. He subsequently worked in a corporate and family medical practice since leaving government service more than 10 years ago. He is well versed in various aspects of the management of employee health. He is the resident physician for Chinatown Medical Centre, Work Health & Safety INC and Occupational Health Consultants (Asia-Pacific).

Ms Lee has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. She has worked in various disciplines both locally and overseas, and her passion lies in the occupational health of researchers and employees. She is an active promoter of healthy living at work and outside of work. She is a trained counsellor in smoking cessation and a CPR/AED instructor.
